Good evening sir,
Basically, we all have the same risk of contracting the virus regardless of our medical history. However, some people are at higher risk for serious complications; immunocompromised people, those with chronic diseases, as well as the elderly.
In people with mild renal failure, the risk of complications is very similar to the general population.
For now, the most effective way to prevent transmission of the virus is via prevention. Therefore, I encourage you to practice the following hygiene measures:
  • Wash your hands often with warm running water and soap for at least 20 seconds.
  • Cover your mouth and nose with your arm to reduce the spread of germs.
  • Avoid direct contact for greetings, such as handshakes, and favor the use of alternative practices.
  • If you are ill, avoid contact with more vulnerable people including those over 70 and those with chronic illnesses.

Good evening,
