Is it normal to have a brown discharge during/after sex with my partner?

When this happens, it's sometimes related to your menstrual cycle (spotting) or bleeding that comes from irritation from sex.

The first thing you should do is make sure you're taking your pill (if you're on one, of course), to limit the risk of spotting. Next, try using a personal lubricant during sex to reduce the risk of irritation.

If that doesn't stop the brownish discharge after a month, I recommend you see a doctor.
