Is it normal to feel dizzy during ovulation? I already had my head examined after a bicycle accident a year ago (MRI)

Hello, I am dizzy (only this afternoon), the dizziness is quite strong. I wonder if it could be related to my ovulation (which is supposed to be today). I stopped the pill 5 months ago (after 13 years)

Good morning, Madam,
Did this happen only today or in previous cycles as well?

Hello,
since I stopped the pill recently, I am not yet good at recognizing all the new signals and symptoms of my body (ovulation or menstruation). However, I do occasionally (quite rarely) get these dizzy spells, which usually last 1-2 hours and then fade away. I'm not sure yet if it always happens at the same time of my cycle..
on the other hand, following a bicycle accident in June 2021, I had an MRI at the doctor's request to see if the dizziness could be due to a more serious disease (multiple sclerosis) and nothing was found.

Thanks for the information, I'm sorry for the delay in my response, I hadn't seen the notification!
I found a few references that ovulation can cause mild dizziness.
I would like to point out that dizziness can occur for many reasons, but in most cases is temporary. However, if you notice a periodicity or if the dizziness becomes frequent, you should consult a physician to assess the situation and not delay its management if necessary.
Sincerely,
Tom Samaha, pharmacist

Hello,
Thank you for your answer! Indeed, these dizzy spells are temporary and rarely occur... And they are quite light (I can continue to go about my business).
I will still pay attention.
Thank you very much!
