Pain after a hike?

22-year-old woman3 years ago
Yesterday I went for a walk in the woods for 2 hours when I came back home my right knee and part of the top of my knee had big throbbing and kind of spasms that prevented me from walking on that leg so I put some antiflogestin and it felt good. Around noon this part of my leg started to burn with nothing apparent but unpleasant, now I come back from work (at work I did not go to the mall) but right now it burns as if someone would be burning me, is it normal the next day that the antiflogestin is used?

Ha and I was wondering if it could be an allergic reaction to a plant in the woods?

Hello, thank you for your question!
An allergic reaction following contact is usually accompanied by visible irritation on the skin. If this is the case, it is
unfortunately, it is almost impossible to make a decision without first seeing the lesions you are referring to (which is impossible here). I therefore recommend that you go to a pharmacy to show the lesions
The pharmacist on duty will be able to direct you to the right product based on his or her observations, or to recommend a medical consultation if he or she deems it necessary.
However, if it is a small injury following the physical effort of the hike, apply ice for 10 to 15 minutes on the painful area, as often as needed during the day. Your pharmacist will be able to customize the consultation for you with other treatment options based on your medical history and preferences.
Sincerely
Tom Samaha, Pharmacist
