Is it safe to use inhalers (Flovent and Ventolin) with expiration months of March 2020 and April 2020?

I have asthma on and off (periodic winter attacks and fairly normal breathing the rest of the time). The pumps mentioned are the last ones I was prescribed last year during a consultation, but they are not renewable as I do not have a family doctor and no follow-up. After a winter run yesterday, I started having symptoms (cough, wheezing, chest pain and intercostal pain). I can't get a teleconsultation appointment and don't dare to go for a face-to-face consultation because of the cough (although relatively mild)/or the risks of exposing myself to COVID-19 in the current context. What do you recommend? Is it dangerous to use expired inhalers? Is it still effective? Can the pharmacist renew the prescription in the current context even though it is not normally renewable?

Good evening ma'am,
The pharmacist will not be able to refill this medication, no.
That said, I am of the opinion that for the time being last year's pumps could be used, especially if they have been well stored (not too wet) since opening.
Good evening,
Alexandre Chagnon, pharmacist
