I started taking the pill yesterday and I have a headache?

46-year-old woman2 years ago
Hello I stopped the Alesse pill continuously last October 2021. I was taking a medication for high blood pressure because the pill makes me have high blood pressure. I was taking a medication for high blood pressure because the pill makes me increase my blood pressure...I am 44 years old, and I have been anemic for 2 months because of my recent heavy menstruation... Is there any danger of taking the pill again? Phlebitis or other? What should I watch out for? What to take for a headache, I have been taking iron supplements for 1 month. Thank you so much for your help.

Hello, Madam,
Would it be possible to know the reason why you wish to resume contraception?
Is your blood pressure well controlled? What are your average values?
What other medications are you taking?
Do you smoke?
Would it be possible to get your height and weight?
Thank you for your time!

Thanks for the feedback!
If your headache is secondary to the contraceptive, taking Tylenol may help ease the pain. However, if it is a migraine with aura, you should stop taking the contraceptive and discuss possible alternatives with your pharmacist.
Sincerely,
