Travel to Cuba with baby

We are going to Cuba with our 4 month old baby. Are there any medications I should bring as a preventive measure for my baby? Baby has no particular health issues, he is fine. I will bring a thermometer and tempra, but beyond that, any other suggestions?

Hello! Of course you shouldn't forget a diaper rash cream like Zincofax.
As for sunscreen, a "physical" sunscreen like zinc oxide (ingredient in Zincofax) would be an option for your baby, but it's best to keep him out of the sun with light long sleeves and a hat. For swimming please favor before 10:00 AM and after 2:00 PM, when the sun is strongest. Don't forget a fragrance-free moisturizer such as Base Glaxal or Aveeno, in case minor skin irritations occur.
For mosquitoes, all-inclusive "resorts" are usually safe places, and mosquitoes are rare by the sea. A physical mosquito net will be preferred if you leave the resort early in the morning or evening.
Finally, for nausea and/or motion sickness, you can get Gravol for children, as an oral liquid or suppositories. Your pharmacist will be able to record the medication on your child's chart and give you the dose based on your child's weight.
Don't hesitate if you have any other questions, have a safe trip!
