I started crossfit not too long ago and have had a huge sty on my eye since. Is it related? Should I stop doing crossfit?

High intensity physical training is sometimes linked to lower energy levels (especially at the beginning of training) and fatigue. It's not impossible that this can contribute to lowering your immunity somewhat (especially if you stay up late).
Also, contact lens wearers should change the products that come in contact with their eyes to reduce the risk of reinfection. The same is recommended for women who wear makeup around their eyes.
To conclude, give your body time to get used to the workout, and put the odds in your favor by resting your body properly between workouts.
