I think I have bacterial sinusitis and I am pregnant. Can I take something other than Sinus Rinse?

Please note that I have been sick for 15 days. I had all the symptoms of colds that exist, I even had an eye infection. At the pharmacy they gave me polysporin for my eyes. I put it on for 5 days and the eye infection went away. But now my cold symptoms persist. I have a big pain in my head, in the sinus, it hurts. My ears hurt a lot too. Can I take polysporin for my ears? should I go see a doctor? as I am pregnant I wonder if I am allowed to take antibiotics?

Hello Ma'am,
The symptoms you describe are indeed similar to sinusitis. In my experience, when a person had a cold with symptoms that got better, and then felt like they had a new "stronger" infection, that was a warning sign of bacterial sinusitis that needed to be treated with antibiotics.
In other words, yes, I think you should go for a consultation. I know it's not easy in the middle of Christmas Eve, but recommending an alternative would only delay proper management of your situation in my opinion.
Waiting for your appointment, you can continue the Sinus Rinse™ and Tylenol Extra Strength. A quick consultation is in order 😊.
Happy Christmas,
