I think my son is reacting to the mosquito bite, these bites are getting red and swollen. Can I put benadryl in a stick?

Hello,
I would suggest that you put hydrocortisone 1% 2-3 times a day on his little pimples. Benadryl in topical form is much less effective than the oral form. I almost never suggest it because it is not always effective. If that's what you have on hand, you can still try it. Another option is to apply a calamine solution. Aveeno Anti-Itch Lotion contains calamine and colloidal oatmeal. It is a very soothing product
To summarize, in order of effectiveness, hydrocortisone 1% - calamine - benadryl topical.
I hope this answers your question
