Voltaren is a topical NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug). Although it is not taken systemically, there is still a potential for 1-2% systemic absorption through the dermis

I suggest that you check your blood pressure if you are taking pressure medication at the beginning of treatment with Voltaren.

You should have little chance of heartburn.
