After having sex, I get cracks in my foreskin that hurt. Is there a cream to improve the moisture and elasticity of the foreskin?

Hello, My question is about cracks on my foreskin during sex and masturbation. It happens that my foreskin cracks (small cut on the inside) when I have sex with my girlfriend and sometimes when I masturbate for a while or more than once in a day. These cuts are painful when I urinate, always end up healing after 2 or 5 days depending on the cut and they occur especially when my foreskin is drier (for masturbation) and when my girlfriend is less naturally lubricated or during more intense sexual ralations. After reading about the subject I concluded that it would be a question of elasticity and hydration of my foreskin. I would like to have your opinion on the subject and also which cream would be recommended in this case to help hydrate my foreskin to help solve this little problem. Thank you.

Your symptoms may be related to a phenomenon called paraphimosis, which is a shrinking and reduced elasticity of the foreskin. This condition requires medical attention, as your symptoms may never improve despite the use of cream.

In the meantime, use water-based lubricant (KY) when having sex with your partner or alone.

I have to go out of town for a few months for work and will not be able to see a doctor until then. I would like to know if there is a cream that I could use to help reduce the problem until I am able to see a doctor.

I have to go abroad for a few months for work and it will be impossible for me to see a doctor in the morning. I would like to know if there is a cream that I can use to reduce the problem or stabilize it until I can see a doctor.

And I was also wondering if circumcision is almost always the solution to the problem of phimosis in adults.

Please note that I can unpack the glans completely and without any problem when I am at rest and almost completely when I am extracting (about 1 or 2 millimeters from the complete unpacking)

First of all, you should know that as a pharmacist, I am not authorized to make a diagnosis. It could very well be that your problem is not caused by a paraphimosis. What is certain, however, is that you need to see a doctor.

There is no over-the-counter (non-prescription) cream that I would recommend. Until you see a doctor, as I said in my answer, use a water-based lubricant during sex.
