How do I take Optidril so I don't have a bleeding period?

My doctor prescribed the pill to reduce my heavy periods and not for contraceptive purposes I was supposed to start it at the beginning of my period except that it would have fallen the day before taking the plane (24 hours of travel) so I started it a week and a half ago (just two weeks before the trip)

Hello, madam, would it be possible to know what contraceptive you are taking?
When do you plan to start it?
What is the first day of your cycle?
Thank you
