Hello, and thank you for your question!
A little blood in your stools could mean, among other things, that there is a local irritation. This can happen if you've had to strain, and/or if your stool is very hard.
In the majority of cases the situation disappears on its own.
If however your stool has been harder recently, I encourage you to increase your intake of fiber-rich foods such as fruits, vegetables, and whole wheat products (brown rice, brown bread, etc.), and to drink lots.
If this situation doesn't disappear within 48-72 hours, or gets worse, please contact your closest pharmacists who will personalize the consultation according to your needs.
I hope I've been helpful, please do not hesitate if you have other questions!
Tom Samaha, pharmacist
