My daughter has a stomach ache and gas after stopping Lax-A-Day, what should I do?

My 2.5 year old daughter suffers from constipation. We consulted a doctor, who recommended the maximum dose of Laxaday (17g). My daughter took the maximum dose for 4 days. At the end of the 4 days, she had two liquid stools. I immediately stopped giving her Laxaday. She has been off laxaday for 4 days now. However, she complains of stomach ache several times a day and has two green stools a day. She also has gas.
