Is it normal to have a heart rate below 50 BPM?

My boyfriend's heart rate is below 50 BPM. Is this dangerous and what should we do? He was born with congenital aortic stenosis.

Hello,
Thank you for your question. In order to better answer you, I would like to ask you a few questions
Besides his stenosis, does your spouse have any other known health problems? What is his level of physical activity (does he play sports, for example)? Is he or she taking any medications on a regular basis? Does he have any known allergies to anything?
Besides a pulse of 50 BPM, does he have any other symptoms (fatigue, shortness of breath, etc.)? Has he taken his blood pressure?
This information will allow me to better answer your questions

He is not a physically active person, but he is not overweight! (6ft 3, 203lbs). He does not take any medication and has no allergies. He is careful with his diet (keto). He is tired today and got dizzy when he bent over
He just took his pressure 120/70 with a pulse of 53 beats/min.

Okay, thanks for the clarification!
Some people naturally have a lower pulse rate than others without it being necessarily dangerous. This is often the case for athletes, for example. For most people, the normal range is between 60 and 100 BPM, but it is not necessarily worrying to be below 60 BPM, especially at rest. However, if fatigue and/or dizziness persist for no reason or if he develops other symptoms such as fainting, it would be wiser to be evaluated by a physician as a precaution
His blood pressure of 120/70 mmHg is completely normal. A pulse rate of 53 BPM does not worry me too much either if he is not experiencing discomfort as explained above.
I remain available for more information if necessary, hoping to have answered your question
