I am taking Contrave™ and would like to know if the side effects like sweating eventually go away over time?

The contrave gives me xerostomia but that's not the most disturbing thing, what bothers me is that I also have sweating. Is it going to go away, it's been 2 months and a half since I started the medication Thank you

Hello Ma'am,
In fact, these side effects can occur with Contrave™. Dry mouth (xerostomia), for example, occurs in about 1 in 12 people.
As for sweating, patients usually complain of "hot flash," much like menopausal symptoms (intense heat for a few minutes). About 1 in 25 people mention having this effect.
While dry mouth seems to persist a bit longer in patients, the "hot flashes" seem to decrease over time. Hard to say how long it takes before it goes away, unfortunately. Indeed, this drug is very new and we have very little data on this at this time.
One thing is for sure, there are several options available to you to counteract xerostomia. Among them are Xylitol-based products available in pharmacies!

Presently it's just the "hot flashes" that bother me more than the dry mouth.. it's easier to deal with this problem by drinking water, so much say the hot flashes it makes my hair sides wet instantly which is the most bothersome according to me.. but if they end up going away I'm still hopeful, I'll keep it going yet see.
Thank you so much for your reply

Perfect!
If you see that nothing changes over the next 2 months, come back to me or talk to your pharmacist.
