Should I continue to pull on the foreskin to try to get it to come off? If so, how do I do it right because it won't come off at all.

Hello, my 11 month old son's pediatrician told me at his last appointment (at 9 months) that I should pull on the skin of his penis (foreskin) at each bath to help it come off. I can't do it, the skin never comes off. I read in the Naître et Grandir and in the Mieux Vivre of the INSPQ that one should not touch the foreskin.

Hello ma'am,
Indeed several references indicate not to pull on it, and that it can usually detach itself. The complete detachment can sometimes take several years, so keep that in mind.
As long as it does not complain of pain, and you do not notice any redness or swelling, just keep an eye on it. You should not pull beyond the resistance you feel.
Sincerely,
