Is it safe to take Tylenol continuously for arthritis?

I am 60 years old. I have been taking 2 arthritic Tylenols every night before bed for at least 4 years. Can it be dangerous for my health in the long run? If I don't take them, my lower back hurts at night and my joints hurt less when I take Tylenols. I thought it could give me stomach problems in the long run because I have a weak stomach when I take wine or chocolate or tomato based foods and I thought it could be the Tylenol.
