Is it safe to take Tylenol continuously for arthritis?

I am 60 years old. I have been taking 2 arthritic Tylenols every night before bed for at least 4 years. Can it be dangerous for my health in the long run? If I don't take them, my lower back hurts at night and my joints hurt less when I take Tylenols.

Hello,
Depending on how you use it, yes Arthritis Tylenol is safe when taken on a regular basis over the long term.

I thought it could give me stomach problems in the long run because I have a weak stomach when I take wine or chocolate or tomato based foods and I thought it could be the Tylenol. So good, I will continue to take them. Thanks to you!

Tylenol is not a drug known to cause stomach problems, unlike anti-inflammatory drugs such as Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin) or naproxen (Aleeve). Thus, Tylenol is used even in people with a history of digestive problems (e.g. ulcers).
The foods you mention (chocolate, wine, tomatoes) are all basic foods that can irritate the stomach. Thus, it often happens that people have difficulty digesting them. Tylenol, however, has nothing to do with this
