Can we continue our cholesterol medication and blood thinner (aspirin) for 2-3 weeks before the COVID vaccine takes effect?

How do we know what vaccine they are giving us? With my background (parents), I need to get the Pfiser. I have called several pharmacies and they offer the Moderna. It hasn't been tested much so we have no data on it. It scares me a bit...

Hello Ma'am,
Yes, medication is continued after vaccination.
And what do you mean about the Pfizer vaccine studies?
Based on the data currently available, this is the vaccine with the most patients injected worldwide. In fact, that's why it's now recommended for ages 12 and older (it's the only one).

I know that Pfiser is the most injected vaccine. It's the one I would want because of my family history and medication. But I don't know how I can know where to go to make sure I get that one.
I can't get the Astrazeneca, too much risk of clots with my history.
I have called around to several pharmacies and they give the Moderna. Is it as safe as Pfiser? We don't have much data on this one.
How do I get the Pfiser?
Thank you

Ah I get it!
The Pfizer™ and Moderna™ vaccines are very safe in your situation. If you make an appointment right now, you can get Moderna™ at the pharmacy without any problems and without fear of more intense or severe side effects than Pfizer's vaccine, both of which use mRNA technology.
