Hello yesterday we went to the restaurant, my husband had diarrhea all night and this morning he vomited. Now he still has diarrhea but he doesn't vomit anymore. Can he take an Imodium? Or what should he do Thank you

Hello, I am sorry to read about his troubles!
Imodium is not recommended in a case like this. If he still has nausea, Gravol (oral tablet or suppositories) is the first line of treatment.
It will be necessary to make sure that he is well hydrated with light liquids throughout the day.
He should favor light foods such as soups, broths, toast with butter, eggs and avoid heavy or sweet foods such as red meat and undiluted fruit juice
Acetaminophen (Tylenol and other brands) remains the best option for aches and pains.
I hope that I have been helpful to you and remain available if you have any further questions

If he is able to drink, encourage him to take 2 to 3 sips every 3 to 5 minutes throughout the day.
