I am pregnant, I have a sore throat, congestion and cough?

36-year-old womana year ago
I have had a sore throat since December 25th, medium congestion, a little cough, negative covid tests, difficulty swallowing, no fever. I took ibuprophen to relieve it, I tried dayquill but no change so as I am breastfeeding my 15 month old son I did not take it again. Unable to gargle my heart is rising. When I look at my throat it is red near my tonsils, probably swollen, it pulls in my ears when I swallow, but I don't see any white spots.

Good morning, ma'am,
Do you have other symptoms such as a runny or blocked nose, even a little?
Have you noticed an improvement in your symptoms?
36-year-old woman · a year ago
The runny nose is very light, but the congestion is present, I have to blow my nose often. There is a cough that started today but it is not continuous.
Little improvement, pain to swallow, even water, advil to relieve, tylenol ineffective.

Thank you for the information!
The basis of treatment will be nasal hygiene with saline solution such as Hydrasense or Sinus Rinse which can be done as often as needed during the day and at least 30 minutes before bedtime.
I encourage you to drink plenty of fluids, cold or hot depending on your preference.
Tylenol or Advil should provide some relief if you still have pain, and you can also add lozenges like Halls or Fisherman's Friend if you have throat irritation.
If symptoms persist for more than a week without improvement, you should see a doctor as a precaution.
I will be available if you have any further questions!
Sincerely,
Tom Samaha, Pharmacist
