How long is a strep throat contagious with antibiotics?

My son has strep throat and has been on antibiotics for over 24 hours. He still has a fever.

Good morning, ma'am,

The child is usually considered contagious until 24 hours after starting the antibiotic. If he still has a fever, I would wait 24 hours after the fever disappears before not considering him contagious.
