After how long I am not contagious anymore and after how long I have to change my toothbrush? 24 or 48 hours? Thank you!

Hello, yesterday I had a positive result for streptococcus. I have been on antibiotics for 24 hours already. However, I got different information from the nurse and the pharmacist.

Hello madam, in order to better advise you, would it be possible to obtain the contradictory information you received?

The nurse told me that I would not be contagious anymore and to change my toothbrush after 24 hours of antibiotics and the pharmacist told me that I would not be contagious anymore and to change my toothbrush after 48 hours

Thanks for the feedback, please forgive my delay! The resources I found indicate more like 24 hours for contagion. For the toothbrush change, the info I found says 24 and 48 hours.
Sincerely,
Tom Samaha, pharmacist
