My 11 month old daughter has had a fever and congestion for 36 hours.

My 11 month old daughter has had a fever for 36 hours and has a green runny nose and is very congested. She had started a cold two weeks ago (clear discharge and no fever) and it stopped for a day and since then she has been running green and has a fever. Should I consult? Or what can I do other than nasal hygiene, Advil Tylenols alternating for the fever?

Good morning, ma'am,
Nasal hygiene remains the best treatment and should be done as often as necessary during the day and at least 30 minutes before bedtime.
Encourage your child to drink plenty of fluids, cold or hot, depending on his/her preference.
For fever, only one of Advil OR Tylenol should be given, they should not be alternated without medical supervision, as one should be enough to relieve the fever. Your pharmacist will be able to tell you the maximum dose of one of the two depending on its weight and the concentration of the product chosen.
If the fever persists for more than 72 hours or if its condition deteriorates, you should consult a doctor.
I also suggest, if not already done, to do a rapid test for COVID.
I hope I've been helpful, please feel free if you have any other questions
