Should I consult a professional since my menstrual cycle is now 43 days?

Hello! I am 17 years old, and for the last 3 months, I have had menstrual cycles of more than 40 days (42 and 43 to be precise) my normal is 35 days. I'm an overweight girl, but I do sports and I don't think I'm under a lot of stress right now. There is no way I am pregnant either.

Good morning, ma'am,
If I may, your cycle is about ten days longer?

Yes indeed

Thanks for the feedback!
It can be quite unpleasant but does not necessarily indicate a problem at this time. A lengthening of the menstrual cycle can occur in some people. The important thing is the absence of other symptoms such as pain that increases over time, heavy or regular bleeding, or other symptoms.
It is advisable to consult a doctor if the length of the cycle reaches 2 x the normal length, thus 60 to 70 days in your case. Otherwise, I will be available if you have any other questions!
Sincerely,
