Hello ! My 5 year old son had what seems to be a stomach bug last Wednesday, so almost a week ago. He still hasn't regained his appetite and is complaining of a stomach ache. He doesn't have diarrhea and didn't have it last week either. A loose stool only 24 hours after throwing up overnight. Good evening! Thank you for your answer! He finally had diarrhea part of the night ... what a strange virus! One night of vomiting and ONE WEEK later, one night of diarrhea ... he also has itching and redness on his breastbone .. He had scarlet fever a month ago. He was treated with antibiotics. Could this be related?

For now, just monitor his general condition, encourage him to drink often and favor light foods like soups, broths, crackers, toast, eggs, etc. As long as he is feeding, only monitoring is suggested. A fragrance-free moisturizer such as Aveeno or other can be applied often to the rash.
