I have had a sore throat for 3 weeks now. Do I need to see a doctor to get a prescription?

Hello,
do you have trouble swallowing?
Do you have white tonsils? Swollen lymph nodes? If you have other symptoms you can mention them. COVID-19 can also cause a sore throat.
The signs of strep throat are
-difficulty swallowing
-red/swollen tonsils/white spots
-swollen glands
However, if you do not see any improvement in your condition, only a health care professional such as a doctor, PHI or your health care provider can prescribe medication to treat an infection. If it is a strep throat, there are pharmacies where you can go for a test and if the pharmacist has a collective prescription, he can prescribe the necessary treatment.
