Do I need to be treated if there has been a case of pinworm in the classroom where I teach?

Hello, I work in a school environment and I have just received a letter about a case of Oxyurosis in the class where I work. I happen to be scared because I stayed home today because I had nausea and diarrhea last night. I wonder if it could be related, I don't have an itch.

Hello ma'am, thank you for your question!
The detection of worms is very simple to do at home
In the middle of the night, with a flashlight, you can check your anus for worms. If you see worms, or someone else in the house, I invite you to consult your pharmacist who will complete the consultation.
Sincerely
Tom Samaha, pharmacist

Hello, this is difficult because I live alone. Is there any other way to find out?

You can also use the tape technique: in the middle of the night, you can use a tape and apply it to the anus to see if there are worms on it.
