When to consult for a child with diarrhea?

Hi, my 3 year old daughter has had pale (but normal colored) diarrhea for 2 days now. No other symptoms and her covid test is negative. For the moment her general condition is excellent. Should we consult if this persists for a while despite the absence of other symptoms?

Thank you for your question!
If your child is in good general condition, is able to eat and drink (even if a little less), there is no need to worry
You should consult if your child is not drinking or eating, if you notice a fever that persists, or if the diarrhea lasts more than 7 days.
I hope this has been helpful to you, so please don't hesitate if you have any other questions!

Hello, thank you! Are the instructions the same for a stomach bug? My daughter finally threw up on Saturday and her diarrhea is less frequent but still there. It has been 5 days now.

Yes, they are the same! Reintroduce light foods to give your digestive system a chance to heal properly.
