Can I take bovine collagen if I am allergic to bovine proteins?

Hello, I have joint problems and I bought some anti-inflammatories that contain bovine collagen. However, I have an allergy to bovine protein and I was wondering if it is safe to use the anti-inflammatory. Thank you and have a nice day.

Hello Sir,

I have found references indicating that there is a risk of allergy with the use of bovine collagen in people with an allergy to bovine proteins. I therefore recommend, as a precaution, not to consume this type of product.
