I took a sip of water and then realized that there was a mouse dropping in the glass. Can there be any consequences and are there any signs that I need to physically monitor.

What I can suggest is to watch for any unusual symptoms such as fatigue, fever, diarrhea, nausea or vomiting among others. If you ever need to see a doctor in the next few weeks, be sure to mention the possibility of having ingested this as a precaution.
