My partner cut my one month old baby's nails and cut a little bit of skin in the process. We put a compress of water but it doesn't seem to stop. Should I disinfect, put a bandage? Thanks

Hello Ma'am,
The most appropriate thing to do in a situation like this is to apply a band-aid to the wound if it is not too big. I take it for granted that a baby nail clipper doesn't usually inflict a very large cut, so in my opinion the best thing to do is:
Wash the wound with soapy water;
Apply a bandage to the wound.
If the bleeding persists for several hours and eventually runs outside the bandage, it's a sign that the bandage won't be enough and should be shown to a doctor.
So, how is his wound progressing since yesterday at noon?
