He is 32 years old, drinks 1 or 2 beers a day, smokes, but in good health and sleeps well at night.

Good morning ma'am!
What is your question specifically? :)
And how long have you had these symptoms? Does he suffer from allergies, too?

Hello, my question is are there any solutions for his mouth noise problems? No, he does not suffer from allergies. However, the noises have evolved over time, for the last 6 months or so it's louder and longer. Could this have anything to do with the fact that he often breathes through his mouth at night? Thank you so much!

Thanks for the details.
Did your husband tend to snore before lately? Late night drinking, smoking and being overweight can indeed contribute to snoring. So can nasal congestion, sleeping on your back and taking sleeping pills. By favoring a sideways position, the mouth will be less likely to open, which could decrease snoring.
Do you think your spouse might have sleep apnea, which is marked by the presence of "interruptions" in breathing? Does he or she have pain in the jaw or teeth when he or she gets up (bruxism)?
If you can't find an explanation for the problem, it's getting worse, and changes in lifestyle and sleeping position aren't helping, you may indeed want to see a doctor who can evaluate the cause and refer you to a specialist if necessary.
I hope I have answered your question.
