Hello,
You should not cut Concerta. Once swallowed, the medication contained in the tablet is released gradually through the tip of the tablet. So if you cut the Concerta, you break this release system and expose yourself to a large amount of Concerta all at once, which greatly increases the risk of side effects
If you feel that your Concerta dose is too high, talk to your pharmacist. Your pharmacist can contact your doctor to suggest a lower dose.
Finally, muscle pain is not a common side effect of Concerta. However, it is reported in the product monograph. It is certain that not cutting the tablets will reduce your risk of adverse effects

Hello, thank you very much for the advice. I only cut it once. Also, if I have muscle cramps with the uncut concerta 18 mg, could it be dangerous for my health?

I do not believe that this would be a danger to your health. However, if the cramps are indeed caused by the medication, a change in medication may be appropriate
Wishing you a good day,
Justin
