I take only hormones as medication and do not take any medication It is not due to an accident, the pain started in October 2016 in the hips and I had an x-ray that does not determine any breakage. I took 2 weeks of antiflammatory (naproxen 500mg twice a day) and the pain persists.

Because the diagnosis does not seem to be determined at this time, it is difficult to make a good recommendation. The use of anti-inflammatory drugs (Naproxen) should be reserved for pain that is related to inflammation. The description of the onset of your symptoms suggests that Tylenol (acetaminophen) may help, and that is what I would tend to recommend at this time.

Have you ever tried Tylenol?

Yes, I have already tried tylenol. I met with a doctor and was diagnosed with bursitis. Is there either stretching to strengthen it, or do I have the choice of an infiltration. I wish I didn't have to have an infiltration.

I'm not the expert on stretching, but I think you could benefit from a physiotherapy management program. This would at least help you recognize movements that could aggravate or reoccur the symptoms you are experiencing now.

Only a physiotherapist can tell you if such stretching and exercises will help you avoid cortisone infiltration.
