How can I get rid of my hemorrhoids permanently?

32-year-old womana year ago
Hello, Since I gave birth three years ago, I have a hemorrhoid that I can't get rid of. It doesn't hurt or do anything and I don't bleed when I have a bowel movement but it makes it very difficult for me to have sex.

Hello ma'am, I'm sorry to read about your troubles!
Have you tried anything for this problem?
Do you also have constipation or diarrhea? Do you have anal sex?

Hello,
no I do not have anal sex. I do not have diarrhea or constipation. In fact I don't have any symptoms other than the lump when I have a bowel movement. What I have tried is a cream prescribed by the hospital when I gave birth and I have not seen any results.

Thank you for the information, I am sorry for the delay in my response, I had not seen the notification!
Anusol Plus ointment, available without a prescription, can be applied to the irritated area (inside and outside as needed) twice a day and after each bowel movement.
Avoid sitting on the toilet bowl for long periods of time, as this can make the situation worse. Get up as soon as you're done (don't read the newspaper or use your cell phone for example)
I would also recommend using unscented wet wipes, a wet washcloth or a bidet for hygiene instead of toilet paper for the time being, to give the mucous membranes a chance to heal.
If the situation does not seem to be improving after 2 weeks, or if it gets worse, you should consult a doctor.
I will remain available if you have any further questions
Sincerely
Tom Samaha, pharmacist
