A "normal" headache and a migraine have overlapping symptoms, but they are two different problems.
A headache is often mild to moderate in intensity and can be caused by several factors. A migraine is more moderate to severe and may even prevent the person from continuing with daily activities. It is often triggered by a specific factor and may be preceded by an aura.
