I am starting a cold. I feel secretions in the upper palate, but I am not congested. Should I do the Sinus Rinse?

I feel this symptom after a big cardio-muscle workout done last night.

Hello Ma'am,
It could very well be that you have a cold, especially considering your question last week about your daughter's cold. Is mucus in your throat indeed your only symptom? If so, you can indeed use a saline solution such as Sinus Rinse which will increase nasal drainage and liquefy secretions. You can use it up to 3 times a day. If you feel irritation, you will have to decrease the frequency. I also suggest that you maintain good hydration, and depending on your health condition and the medications you are taking, the addition of an antihistamine, such as Claritin, could also be effective in decreasing the runoff from the nose to the throat.
In the current context, I also invite you to take a look at the Government of Quebec's platform for the evaluation of flu-like symptoms https://www.quebec.ca/sante/problemes-de-sante/a-z/coronavirus-2019/qui-contacter-en-cas-de-symptomes/.
I hope that I have answered your question well,

The presence of mucus is indeed the only symptom. I have done the COVID self assessment I have no other symptoms. Thank you very much for your response!
