I'm getting a little worried after so long. Should I go for a consultation? Do you have any suggestions for treatment?

I am traveling in Southeast Asia and probably got food poisoning 4 days ago. Since then, I am tired, achy and I have diarrhea. I take Imodium pullulas for this last symptom. I had a fever a few days ago and I also have a sore throat sometimes. I rest and hydrate a lot.

Hello!
To better assess the situation, I would like to ask you a few more questions:
  • Being in Asia, would you have eaten raw food or anything new in the last few days?
  • The fever is over if I understand correctly, right?
  • Have you noticed any blood in your stool?
  • Do you have a stomach ache?
  • Do you have nausea and/or vomiting?
  • Have you noticed if the symptoms were getting better or worse in the last few days?
  • What is the source of the water you drink?
  • What medications do you have access to at this time?
As you are already doing, it is important to stay very well hydrated. For the Imodium, I encourage you to continue it as long as you need it. At the beginning of the day, you can take 2 tablets right away, then take 1 tablet during the day each time you have a liquid stool, up to a maximum of 8 tablets per day.
I look forward to answering your questions!

Thank you so much for your answer. Fortunately, all the symptoms disappeared overnight, as if by magic. I don't know how it started, but I'm glad it did.
Thanks again!
