How long is the interval between taking Aleve and aspirin?

Hi, I took an aleve yesterday, can I take an aspirin today? I know that both can't be taken at the same time.

Hello Madam,

It is recommended to wait at least 8 hours after taking Aleve before taking another anti-inflammatory drug

This being said, aspirin is not really recommended anymore given the availability of other anti-inflammatory drugs that are at least as efficient and present considerably less gastric irritation.
