How to fight influenza during pregnancy? Is tachycardia one of the symptoms

30-year-old womana year ago
Hi, 36/4 pregnant. I just came out of the emergency room and was told I had influenza. My heart rate is averaging 130. I'm worried about this. I had an ecg and haven't heard anything.

Hello ma'am, I'm sorry to read about your troubles!
Have you received any further information from your visit to the emergency room?
How long have you had your symptoms, and what exactly are they? Have you tried anything about them?

I received tamiflu as an Antibio as I was at the beginning of the symptoms. I have a fever, achy, big headache that doesn't go away, super congested. I have been nauseous since last night after leaving the emergency room I feel like the tamiflu is making me nauseous.
at the hospital they told me to watch the contractions but nothing else

Thank you for the information!
Indeed Tamiflu is known to cause nausea or other gastric disorders. I suggest taking it in the middle of a meal. Gravol can also help relieve nausea if necessary, and is compatible with your other medications.
Sincerely,
Tom Samaha, pharmacist
