What can I do about a cracked corner of the lip that causes a red and painful corner of the mouth?

I am currently pregnant and usually the only thing that works against this "bead" is antifungal cream. Can I use it or will it not be beneficial? Thank you

Good evening,
If you think that it is a recurrence of perlchea, there is indeed no problem to apply an antifungal cream on the affected area; the effect is local, so there is little risk that it will be absorbed by the fetus
There is also a lip cream called CICAPLAST LEVRES by La Roche Posay that I often recommend for chapped lips and corners of the mouth. It is a repairing and moisturizing cream, and it is also safe for pregnant women. Any other typical lip balm (such as Lypsyl or Blistex) can also be used without any problem.
I hope this sheds some light on the matter. If there is anything else, please feel free to contact me again and I will be happy to help you.
Best regards,
