Can Clavulin be frozen without affecting its effectiveness?

Hi, my 3 year old boy needs to take Clavulin. I have tried mixing it into several things and nothing works, he won't take it. I have also tried adding a flavor and it doesn't work. One person mentioned to me that she freezes it (popsicle with yogurt). Can this really be done without affecting the effectiveness of the medication? Thank you!

Hello ma'am, I don't have any data regarding this, but I can contact the manufacturer to find out more and will keep you posted.

Thank you! :) Did you get the details I had provided as well? I don't see them currently in the conversation.

I see in the description that you have tried a flavor change and adding the medication into several foods (personally I have found chocolate milk or Nesquik to be always a hit).

Strange, I don't see this information anymore. But indeed that's what I had written! Chocolate milk was a hit the first few doses, but not anymore. And I have tried Nesquick as well.
My boy doesn't need to take the antibiotic right now, but I'm inquiring about the "pop-sicle" alternative for a possible prescription, as I found the alternative interesting :) so indeed if the manufacturer responds to you, I'd be very interested in the answer.
Thanks a lot!

Thanks for the information!
I just got a call from the manufacturer's (GSK) medical information department, and there is no stability or efficacy data when the product is stored at temperatures outside the recommended range of 2-8 degrees Celsius. Therefore, freezing the product cannot be recommended.
I hope this was helpful to you, I'm still available if there is anything!
