For the past few weeks I have been waking up often at night with one or both hands/arms very numb, sometimes I can hardly feel them anymore. What could be the cause of this bad blood circulation? This never happened to me before and I don't think anything has changed in the way I sleep. I have been taking the birth control pill Diane35 for 12 years which is known to cause blood clots, could this be related to my problem? Thank you!

Sorry, the first part of my answer was missing. Actually I don't think Diane35 is responsible for your numbness. This condition should be analyzed by a doctor because it is not normal for a woman of your age to have such symptoms

Thank you for your answer! I will make an appointment with my family doctor.
