6 week old baby who seems to be uncomfortable in the tummy?

Hello, Baby is almost 6 weeks old. She has episodes where she cries, wriggles, forces, makes gas. It can last for an hour, until she has a bowel movement. After that, she is better. We ride our bikes and massage her belly. For some time now, it happens in the night (around 4am), it also happens in the morning and sometimes in the afternoon. Is there anything else we could do or give her to prevent her from having a tummy ache?

Hello ma'am, thank you for your question, and a thousand congratulations :)
According to what you described, you are already doing the best, including the pedaling motion and massaging. Basically, your baby has to 'learn' to digest, which may seem a little uncomfortable but does not affect your baby or his or her development.
Continue to encourage her to drink, if I might suggest taking small breaks during feedings to pass gas (by holding her up and massaging her back up and down, without patting), and avoid putting her to bed right after a feed, if possible of course.
Hopefully I've been helpful, don't hesitate if you have any other questions

I'm thinking about it, someone told me that probiotics could help. I could get your opinion?

There are probiotics for newborns, including Bio Gaia, that are safe. However, they have not been shown to be effective for these types of symptoms. You could try it, but not expect miracles :)
