My daughter's nails seem to be splitting. Is there anything special we can do? Should we go see her doctor?

Hello ma'am,

For now, just monitor the situation. If the new nail growth looks normal, just wait for the growth to take place. If on the other hand the new part of the nail starts to do that, you will have to consult a doctor for an evaluation of the situation.
