What can I take for ear pain?

Pain in my right ear, I saw a doctor on Thursday at 3:30 pm and I had nothing! I have influenza but yesterday after a nasal shower of salinex (2 full bottles in order to decongest) I had a pain in my ear and this night this pain increased 😀 thank you so much :)
