In a situation like this, there is unfortunately not much in the pharmacist's arsenal that can help you. Indeed, one will want to examine your joints (which only a doctor can do) before recommending anything.
Be aware, on the other hand, that having played an impact sport for several years, you may simply need to strengthen your joints and make your ligaments more flexible in order for these symptoms to stop. In such a case, a visit to the physiotherapist is certainly a good idea.
