How to treat red spots on the penis?

Hello, since a few weeks, I have red spots on the skin of the penis (not on the glans). This is not painful or at least not very painful. However, I notice that my skin becomes more red when I have sexual intercourse. No discharge, no burning. A slight itching sometimes but very small. I tried ointment against dry skin but it doesn't work

If the spots are flat, they usually don't cause a problem. They may appear especially after intercourse due to friction Basic hygiene can usually be sufficient: wash daily with water and mild unscented soap like Dove, then pat dry and apply a fragrance-free moisturizer afterwards. If it ever persists for more than 2 weeks or gets worse, I suggest seeing a doctor for a thorough evaluation, as a precaution.
